If I’m paying for my own treatment, when do I pay?

Existing Patients: We require payment on the day of your appointment, unless you have agreed with us that you are going to use private medical insurance.

We accept cash or card payments (including American Express), as well as PayPal & Stripe payments.

New Patients, when do I pay?

New Patients will be required to make payment at the time of their booking, this can be made with card over the phone or online via PayPal or Stripe.

Can I use private health insurance to pay for my treatment?
The DISC Chiropractors are recognised by most major private health insurance companies for Chiropractic / Shockwave treatments. This excludes Initial consultations.

We appreciate that private medical insurance policies can be complicated, so do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Please note that our fees for Private Health Insurance may vary from our standard prices due to fixed contracts with insurers.

When speaking with your insurer please obtain the following information prior to contacting us to book an appointment:

  • Membership or policy number
  • Authorisation code
  • Number of treatments or amounts covered on your policy
  • Details of any excess

Please note, we can only bill your insurance company directly if they are one of the providers listed below. If there is a shortfall or excess, then we would require you to pay this. For insurance providers not listed here, please speak to our team for more information.

What are your fees?

Our full-price fees are:

  • New Patient Consultation & Results (2 x 60min appointments): £49
  • Chiropractic Adjustment* (20mins): £60
  • Spinal Decompression Therapy – inc. Chiropractic Adjustment* (60-80mins): £140
  • Laser Therapy (Per Area): £20
  • Oligoscan & Results (30 mins): £100
  • HiFEM (Per Area): £60
  • Dry Needling / IASTM (Per Area): £20

*Includes Instrument-Assisted Adjusting as a chiropractic alternative*

We also offer discounts for pre-paid plans, if you would like to know more about these plans, please speak to one of our team.

Is there a charge for cancelling my appointment?

It is clinic policy that we require a minimum of 24 hours notice in order to amend or cancel an appointment, this is because all appointments are reserved in advance, and we are unlikely to be able to fill the appointment with another patient at a late notice. Any late cancellations or appointments not attended will incur a charge.

Reasonable discretion will be applied for patients needing to rearrange one-off appointments for emergency reasons.
